The United Arab Emirates (UAE) concluded its second day of participation in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly with a number of high-level meetings with Member States that share the UAE's commitment to international peace and security.

The main commitments made by the UAE delegation included the ministerial coordination meeting of the Arab League, which was attended by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash.

A meeting was also held with the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Germany to the United Nations Christoph Heusgen, attended by Minister of State Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber.

She also participated in bilateral meetings with representatives of small island developing States, a meeting with Egyptian Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad, a high-level meeting on universal health coverage, and a meeting with Director General for Finance and Sanctions at the US Department of State, David Peyman.

During the discussions of the ministerial coordination meeting of the Arab League, Gargash stressed the need for the Arab world message through the Arab League to condemn the aggression against Saudi Arabia and stressed the importance of solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and supporting all actions taken by the Kingdom in this regard. Dangerous escalation.

Gargash also attended the event “Forming Partnerships for a Multidisciplinary World”.

For his part, Sultan bin Ahmed Al-Jaber met with Christoph Huesgen, to discuss the strategic alliance between the two countries.

Al-Jaber affirmed the UAE's support for political initiatives of interest to Germany, and reviewed the deep economic and cultural ties between the two countries.

Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, held a number of bilateral meetings with her counterparts in other countries and representatives of NGOs.
