A magnitude 6.0 earthquake was recorded Monday night on Tuesday off the island of Puerto Rico, reported the United States Institute of Geological Survey (USGS), which did not report in a first time of victims or damage.
The earthquake occurred at 23:23 local (0320 GMT) at a depth of 10 km and 62 km northwest of the San Antonio Airport. In 2010, the island near Haiti was devastated by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake that killed more than 250,000 people.
