“By the end of the year, 578 institutions of the Russian Emergencies Ministry are to be liquidated - part of fire and rescue units, crisis management centers, centers of the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels, and the logistics center,” the department said.

The representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted that from January 1, 2020, the Ministry intends to transfer the territorial bodies and forces to a new organizational and staff structure.

Earlier, Russian Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology Dmitry Kobylkin, in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper, said that Roshydromet was expecting a “serious reorganization”.
