Grästorp comes in 15th place in the country and the neighboring municipality of Essunga in 19th place and thus tops the list for Skaraborg, when it comes to how Svenskt Näringsliv ranks municipalities according to how good the organization thinks the business climate is.

Thus, out of Sweden's 290 municipalities, Gullspång is ranked 247, which is a sharp decline since last year, 79 investments worse than 2018.

Six of Skaraborg's 15 municipalities are moving forward and improving their investments compared to other municipalities in Sweden. In addition to Grästorp and Essunga, it is Götene, Falköping, Karlsborg and Skara that are considered to have an improved business climate.

Other municipalities lose investments.

- Competition between municipalities is getting tougher and tougher. Many municipalities around Sweden are working intensively to improve their business climate. Although there have been improvements in several municipalities in Skaraborg, the majority unfortunately still skips, says Jessica Tengeland at the Swedish Enterprise in Västra Götaland.

This year's ranking is based on two-thirds of the survey responses from over 1600 entrepreneurs in Skaraborg. In the last third, the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise also considers structural conditions for entrepreneurship.

We have previously talked about Gullspång's problems with getting people of working age to stay in the municipality. The young people are already disappearing after nine. The municipal council therefore wants to see a remuneration similar to the compensation of elite clubs to the parent clubs of young sports speakers.
