According to the data of the Bitrix24 analytical center, which was reviewed by RT, employers consider the main advantages of telecommuting to be able to hire an employee from anywhere in the world (43%), as well as saving on payroll and renting jobs (35%).

In addition, employers noted that with this form of employment, employees save time on travel to the office and money for food (22%).

Among the negative aspects of telecommuting are the difficulty of controlling employees (30%), lack of personal communications (26%), low motivation and involvement (22%), reduced loyalty to the company (14%), information leakage (8%).

The study also provides data on what kind of specialists the companies plan to hire for telecommuting in 2019-2020.

32% of respondents said they intend to hire programmers, 18% - designers and representatives of other creative professions, 14% - specialists in marketing, advertising, PR, SMM, 13% - sales staff, 10% - specialists in finance and accounting, as well as lawyers.

At the same time, only 8% of employers are willing to accept remote support from the technical support department and call center, 4% are specialists in analytics, and 1% are top managers.

72% of respondents are satisfied with the quality of work of remote employees.

The study involved 1051 Russian companies of small, medium and large businesses.
