Thus, as RIA Novosti reports, he commented on the words of the first deputy head of the Ministry of Finance Tatyana Nesterenko, who said that the reform will begin in 2020, which will lead to a reduction in the number of civil servants.

“The statement of colleagues from the Russian Ministry of Finance is somewhat premature. At the moment, there are no final decisions on reforming the civil service, reducing the number of civil servants and raising salaries in the public sector, ”he said.

According to him, at present "there is a discussion of various concepts and approaches to reform."

As Osipov noted, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev soon plans to hold a series of meetings on this topic.

Earlier, Nesterenko said that in 2020 reform will begin in the field of public administration, which will lead to a massive reduction in the number of civil servants.

At the same time, in September, Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov also said that a reduction in the number of officials is expected next year.
