The French subsidiary of bankrupt tour operator Thomas Cook announced Monday that 9,842 of its customers were currently on vacation, while explaining that the situation of the group did not involve "the immediate insolvency" of Thomas Cook France.
An emergency number ( 01.45.05.40.81 ) has been put in place for travelers currently on vacation and Thomas Cook advises its customers traveling Monday not to take the departure to "avoid further difficulties."
