A gang of five people, three Asians and two Gulfs, has prepared an elaborate plan to kidnap an Asian employee from his Dubai office, transfer him to a villa under construction in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, and steal one million and 700,000 dirhams from them, after they entered the building where they claimed to follow. The victim, a 33-year-old employee, said he was at his duty station when the two arrested men came with two other people and surrounded him as he left the elevator with a black bag of one million and 700,000 dirhams belonging to his employer, telling him they were interrogators and Interpol. They asked him to go with them to the vehicle they were in. He sat in the back with two Asian people as the Gulfs sat in the front seat, barred him from contacting anyone but heeded the defendants, and sent a text message to a colleague at work.

The victim reported that they were driving quickly, and took him to a villa under construction in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and when they arrived there appeared a fifth defendant, talking with one of the Gulf, took him from the bag and then screamed and intimidated him, and shared money in front of him, and then boarded with the first and second defendants One of them went down in front of his workplace in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, while he returned with the other to Dubai, where he was arrested upon arrival.

The victim's colleague stated that he received a letter from the latter, stating that he was arrested by the police as soon as he left the office, in possession of one million and 700 thousand dirhams, pointing out that he came down directly to the bottom of the building upon receiving the letter, and asked the security guard what happened, and told him that people They came to the building, showed INTERPOL papers, and took the victim.

In his interrogation, the security guard said that the defendants came to the building and reported that they were police. One of them showed a United Nations passport with the logo of INTERPOL. They told him that they were pursuing an Asian person carrying a backpack and asked him to turn on surveillance cameras to search. They saw the latter come out of the electric lift carrying a bag on his back. They surrounded him and showed him the papers, then took him to an unknown destination, and the signs of confusion were obvious.

A witness from the Dubai Police said that a report was received from the victim's colleague, and a team immediately moved, recording information and identifying the defendants and arresting the first defendant, while returning with the victim from Abu Dhabi.

The first defendant acknowledged his crime, pointing out that he had received a call from the fifth defendant, the mastermind. The latter asked him to meet the third and fourth defendants to carry out the mission. His friend summoned the second Gulf defendant, and the four went to the building where the victim worked. They kidnapped the victim and detained him and stole his money. Police in the possession of the first and second Gulf defendants found a share of the stolen money, while the rest of the defendants are still at large.

The victim was oblivious to the accused and sent a text message to a colleague to act.
