Argentina's Lionel Messi, the legend of world football and FC Barcelona, ​​received the Fifa Best Award for Best Player of the Year in Milan on Monday.

Messi's victory is a small surprise because the favorite was the Dutch defender Liverpool Virgil Van Dijk, named a month ago UEFA player of the year. The two men should also compete for the Ballon d'Or, which will be awarded on December 2nd.
