EH Bildu has decided to withdraw the non-law proposal that it registered on Friday in the Basque Parliament with which it intended that the Chamber veto the presence of Casado, Rivera and Abascal during the election campaign because they consider that the leaders of PP, Cs and Vox attend to the Basque Country to win votes in Spain and "stress" the coexistence of Euskadi.

EH Bildu acknowledges that it was "a mistake" to present the proposal because of "the chosen context", and because of the "lack of clarity of the initiative". "In these times of uncertainty, political rot and lack of responsibility, EH Bildu wants to show himself in front of his people as a political organization that is also able to rectify and recognize their mistakes," they say.

Through a statement they consider that they have "manipulated" what they intended with their proposal:. " Our goal has never been to challenge the right to political participation in our people . The discussion wanted to be and is another: the instrumentalization of provocation to seek electoral revenues, " and again cite as examples the acts of the electoral campaign April 28 in municipalities such as Rentería and Alsasua. The non-law proposal also referred to the Vox rallies in San Sebastian in which serious incidents by radical groups occurred.

EH Bildu accuses of this manipulation "those political and media sectors that share a strategy of tension and confrontation that the vast majority of Basque society rejects". "It is not hidden to anyone that the electoral context favors an interested dynamic for the manipulation and instrumentalization of said proposal. And therefore, we were not in the best context so that the true nature of our could be discussed with serenity and without external conditioning proposal".

That said, the Abertzale coalition calls for the 10-N elections "from respect for the freedom of expression and political organization of all" to be the framework for "defeating the authoritarian and recentralizing theses and ideas that represent the ' trifachito 'and its media terminals ".

The proposal had to be discussed on Tuesday at the Basque Parliament table for admission or not for processing.

After the announcement last Friday the leaders of PP, Cs and Vox announced that they will turn to Euskadi during the campaign to face the intention of vetoing Bildu.
