Earlier, Iranian government spokesman Ali Rabiya Stena Impero, detained by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz in July on suspicion of violating international shipping rules, could be released.
On July 19, Iran detained the Stena Impero tanker in the Strait of Hormuz under the flag of the United Kingdom, carrying 23 crew members, including three Russians.
