The incident should have occurred in the family home in Gislaved municipality in early summer.
According to the indictment, the man must first have given the wife an ear file and then seized her with a view to scaring the couple's daughter. He also took a strangulation on the girl which should have given her pain and difficulty breathing.
The man is also suspected of gross drunk driving after driving a car. This happened the same day that the abuse of the family members took place.
According to the indictment, the man has admitted all crimes.
