Recruited by SCO Angers this summer, Casimir Ninga made a very big performance Sunday, September 22 against Saint-Etienne (4-1). Entered the game for the last twenty minutes, the Chadian has offered the victory to his team by scoring ... three goals in the space of ten minutes!

Still without tenure with Angers, Casimir Ninga has undoubtedly scored big and valuable points this Sunday, September 22. He was yet substitute, again, during the match of the 6th day of Ligue 1 against Saint-Etienne. And it was from the bench that he saw the Greens hit first and his team return to the score early in the second period. The scoreboard showed 69 minutes of play and a 1-1 score when Stéphane Moulin decided to call the attacker. The Ninga show could then begin.

Ninga sends Angers on the podium

The former resident of FC Renaissance, one of the clubs in his native Chad, and AS Mangasport (Gabon), opened his counter with Angers in the 78th. At the reception of a Thomas Mangani free kick, Casimir Ninga deployed his 1.86m and placed a victorious header. The Angevin recidivated in the 84th: at the conclusion of a quick counter and a pass from Mathias Pereira, the attacker adjusted with calmness Stéphane Ruffier. And the show ended with a new shot adjusted to the 89th, after a perfect service from the Senegalese Sada Thioub.

A blow from the supersonic hat so for Casimir Ninga, in just ten minutes! And the benefits are not only personal because with this clear victory, Angers moved to the second place of the championship of France, with three points behind the leader, Paris.

A feat not seen for 12 years

A replacement who scores a hat-trick is not common in France. It had not happened for almost 12 years! The last man to score three goals in the game was the Polish Ireneuzs Jelen with Auxerre against Lorient in October 2007. Casimir Ninga succeeds him today.

The fastest tripling record in Ligue 1, however, remains in the hands of Matt Moussilou. Under the colors of Lille, in April 2005, the Congolese scored three goals in five minutes.

And to say that Casimir Ninga, 26, was hurt! That's one of the reasons he did not start Sunday's game. " It's been a while since I've had pain in the hamstrings. We spoke with the coach, I did not feel good enough to hold, "he told the BeIN Sports mic.

The fruit of a lot of work

This is not the first hat-trick for Chad in Ligue 1. In October 2016, while playing with Montpellier, he had already scored three goals against Dijon. Ninga then went on to a double against Caen, before a break in the cruciate ligaments of one knee put an end to his season. Much less verve the season after the MHSC, the striker has also failed to really revive in Caen in 2018-2019.

Now Angevin, Casimir Ninga is rewarded for the efforts since he signed his contract for three seasons. " He made a thunderous entrance. I really congratulate him because he has worked a lot since he arrived, "says his coach Stéphane Moulin. The author of the hat-trick intends to surf on his exploit. " It really did me good to put this tripled. I will continue to work to score other goals, "Casimir Ninga promises.
