September 22, 201919.24 Avigdor Lieberman, the leader of the Israeli ultranationalist party, Beiteinu, crucial to the formation of a new government, announced that he will not support either the outgoing premier, Netanyahu, or his rival Gantz. And while Israeli President Rivlin is pushing for a coalition government that includes both the Blue and White of Gantz and the Likud of Netanyahu, the united list of Arab parties suggested Rivlin to appoint Gantz to serve as prime minister. It is the first which has happened since 1992.
