A 59-year-old woman, of German nationality, has died around 8.30 in the morning killed by her partner who has nailed a sharp object in the thorax and abdomen in the Colònia de Sant Jordi, in the Mallorcan municipality of Ses Salines . The man has been arrested by the Civil Guard.

The aggressor has caused the woman five wounds with a "short stabbing element" in the thorax and abdomen that have caused a large secondary hemorrhage with wounds incompatible with life, reported 061.

Emergency personnel have unsuccessfully performed resuscitation maneuvers and confirmed the death of the woman.

The event has occurred at an address on Avenida Primavera de la Colònia de Sant Jordi.
