In the early morning, the sky will be overcast, thunderstorms will be frequent and abundant and may be accompanied by strong gusts of wind.

The time Sunday will be disrupted over much of the country, especially on the Mediterranean arc even if the departments of Herault and Pyrénées-Orientales are no longer vigilant "orange rain-flood and thunderstorms", according to the forecasts of Meteo France.

Frequent thunderstorms

In the early morning, from the coastal fringe of the Pyrenees-Orientales and Aude to the departments of Herault, Gard up to the south of the Drôme and Ardèche, the sky will be overcast, stormy showers will be frequent and abundant that can be accompanied by strong gusts of wind. This zone will extend the afternoon on both sides of the Rhone valley and could go up towards the Lyons region. It will be confined in the evening from the northern Alps to the Côte d'Azur.

To the west, the disturbance arrived during the night from Saturday to Sunday will continue its progression towards the interior of the country. It will spread early in the morning from the Normandy coast to the Pays de la Loire to the west of New Aquitaine and give sustained rains, punctuated at times by thunders. In the afternoon, this disturbance will surround the Hauts de France, the Île de France, the Center-Val de Loire, the Limousin to the Midi-Pyrénées region and continue to shift towards the east to concern at the beginning evening the Grand-Est, the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region to Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

Up to 28 degrees in Corsica

Regions close to the north-eastern borders will enjoy bright spells until morning. The wind will be strong in the Mediterranean, from south-east to east on the Corsican caps and the Var coast with gusts of 60 to 70 km / h.
At the end of the day, the Mistral will blow at nearly 70 km / h and the Tramontane between 80 and 90 km / h.

Temperatures will be between 8 and 13 degrees in the East and between 14 and 18 degrees on the rest of the hexagon. The maximum will be of the order of 17 to 21 degrees in a good quarter north-west of the country, 21 to 23 on the south, 23 to 25 on the north-east, 25 to 28 in Corsica.
