Launched by the Ministry of Community Development, NMO has reached the shortlisted stage of the Zero Project International Award after successfully passing the first phase, achieving intense competition for the best projects that offer practical solutions and a positive positive impact on the lives of people of concern around the world.

According to the requirements and requirements of the Zero Project, Nomou is undergoing a rigorous assessment of about 4,000 experts from around the world from around 150 countries, who are being used to evaluate the most useful and impactful projects in the lives of people of determination. Zero Project was launched by the ESSL Foundation in Austria in 2008 to focus on the rights of persons with disabilities in the world. Its vision is to support the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to which the UAE is a party. Wafa Hamad bin Sulaiman, director of the Ministry of Welfare and Rehabilitation, said that NMW is the only application available in Arabic that tracks the growth of children under the age of six in a range of developmental areas. It aims to detect developmental delays in children before disability, for early intervention and any rehabilitation and treatment, thereby reducing the development gap between the child's actual age and the developmental age revealed by the application.

Wafa Bin Sulaiman said that after NMW has passed the first evaluation phase conducted by experts at Zero Project, it will be subject to more competition in the next stage, which will be based on the selection of the winning projects, and the prizes will be presented to them in a special conference to be held on this occasion.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Community Development launched the application of «growth» and achieved a high turnout from various segments of society within the UAE and abroad, because of its value for parents, in terms of knowing the abilities of their children.

In addition to the possibility of using the application from parents to detect the developmental delay of their children, the Ministry has used it to carry out field surveys administered by the Emirates Early Intervention Program of the Ministry, where the application is a preliminary survey prior to the comprehensive diagnostic stage conducted by a multidisciplinary team in the Emirates Early Intervention Program In the emirates of Dubai, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.
