September 21, 2019The Hong Kong police used tear gas to disperse protesters gathered in the Tuen Mun park, who had thrown a Molotov cocktail at the agents. Real scuffles occurred instead in the nearby station, and in one of the main squares, with the barricades set up by the demonstrators and where the agents used pepper spray and rubber bullets to regain control of the situation. Several protesters have been arrested, Hong Kong public television said in his report.

Groups of pro-China protesters have begun to dismantle the 'Lennon Walls', the walls of the protest, which in recent months have multiplied throughout Hong Kong. Dozens of activists have cleaned up these post-it covered walls and colorful messages praising democracy and denouncing Chinese interference in the affairs of the former British colony. The initiative was promoted by a pro-Beijing deputy, Junius Ho, who urged his supporters to clean up. The walls, a hundred scattered throughout the city, refer to the famous 'John Lennon Wall' in Prague, the first, made in the 80s, covered with the words of the Beatles songs and messages of freedom.
