The alarm about the gas emission came at 17.30 on Saturday. Rescue services and police are on site.
- But there is no statement that there would be any danger to residents in the area. It is not at that level, says Rickard Lundqvist, press spokesman for the police.
However, an area has been barred from waiting for representatives from the treatment plant to join.
- It came in as an automatic alarm and on site we discovered that there was steam coming from the object. And now we are going to find out what it is, says Håkan Månsson, internal commander at Rescue Service South.
No person was injured.
