Eight policemen injured in dispersal of protesters in Lviv region

“During the actions to unblock the movement, the participants of the blocking action inflicted bodily harm on eight law enforcement officers. One of them, a 38-year-old senior police sergeant, was taken to a hospital. The diagnosis is being specified, ”the press service said.

In fact of the incident, criminal proceedings were instituted under Part 2 of Art. 279 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (“blocking transport communications, as well as seizing a transport company”).

In March, in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine, a man threw a grenade at the police.
