Egyptian actor and contractor Mohamed Ali called for a million-strong rally in big fields on Friday to demand President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi step down.

Ali said in his latest video on Saturday night he was awaiting a decision by the defense minister and state institutions on demands to isolate Sisi.

He thanked the army for giving people space to express their opinion on Friday, and thanked the police for not dealing violently with the demonstrators, stressing that this revolution does not belong to parties or people and it is a "people's revolution."

Mohamed Ali warned against friction between the demonstrators and the police.

He called on the ministers of defense and interior to release the demonstrators arrested by the security forces yesterday, and demanded quickly to take steps towards the release of political prisoners in Egyptian prisons.

He swore that many army and police officers were interacting with him and wanted to talk to him.

He stressed that Sisi is now nervous because of yesterday's demonstrations, pointing out that he is now appealing to US President Donald Trump to protect him from the next revolution.

Ali talked about the post-Sisi stage, calling for what could be considered a parliamentary system with a significant reduction in the powers of the President of the Republic.

He said that he calls for changing the political system in Egypt by electing 50 people in each governorate specializing in the economy, to meet in parliament to define a new structure for the Egyptian state, and through public debates.

He pointed to the need to define the functions of the army and the police, and liberate the media from the control of the state completely.

He also called for preventing the image of the President of the Republic in government interests or forcing Egyptians to put his image on homes and companies.
