The suspected object seized by the national bomb shelter in Halmstad on Wednesday turned out to be a sharp explosive charge. Now two cars with suspected connection to the incident have been seized.

- We got information that meant we had to check two cars. Mainly to ensure that there were no explosive charges on the vehicles, says police investigator Lars-Gunnar Perlinger.

The cars have been moved to a place where they can be investigated more easily by police, but how long they will be kept in police custody is unclear.

According to Lars-Gunnar Perlinger, it is too early to say whether the owners of the two cars have any connection to the explosive charge.

New hearings

During Friday, police have held several new hearings, but there is still no suspect at this time.

- Primarily, door knocking and testimonials apply. Otherwise, I cannot comment on who we have heard, says Lars-Gunnar Perlinger.
