Mr. Kishida, Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party, visiting Singapore, met with Prime Minister Lee Shenlong and confirmed the policy to cooperate in the early conclusion of RCEP = Comprehensive Economic Partnership in East Asia.

Mr. Kishida, who was re-elected as a political investigation chairman in the Liberal Democratic Party, has visited Singapore for the first time in about a year and four months and met with Prime Minister Lee.

Mr. Kishida appealed that it would be important to develop a free trade system in light of trade disputes between the United States and China, and confirmed the policy of cooperating toward the early conclusion of RCEP = East Asian regional comprehensive economic partnership. .

He also exchanged opinions on the issue of North Korea, and Prime Minister Lee showed his understanding to the Japanese side, which aims to solve the abduction issue.

After the meeting, Mr. Kishida told reporters, “I met for a long time and was able to warm up the old relationship. I want to continue to cherish human relationships.”
