According to Peskov, such plans should not impede the further development of integration processes, as the existing regimes between Russia and Belarus “of course, are taken into account during such negotiations and are somehow agreed between partners”.

“You know that at one time, before the relations between Moscow and Brussels were completely collapsed, frozen, Russia conducted the same negotiations, they were in an advanced stage, and so on, this is a normal process,” he said.

Earlier, the press secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, Anatoly Glaz, said that Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko decided to sign agreements with the EU regarding simplified visa issuance and readmission.
