Helicopters deployed D-30 howitzers on an external sling during the Center-2019 exercises

“Thanks to the transportation by helicopters, the calculations of the D-30 guns landed immediately on the firing position, which allowed us to reduce the time for preparing for firing and performing fire missions,” the defense department said.

It is also reported that during the exercises, Mi-8AMTSH Terminator helicopters transferred UAZ vehicles.

Earlier, the Iskander-M operational-tactical complex missile launchers in the Orenburg Region successfully launched a missile during the Center-2019 exercises.

Military expert Yuri Knutov in an interview with Nation News praised the Center-2019 exercises.
