Heat supply to social institutions in Moscow will begin ahead of schedule
Heating in social institutions in Moscow due to cold weather will be switched on ahead of schedule, said Deputy Mayor Pyotr Biryukov.
He recalled that in accordance with current standards, the heating season begins at an average daily temperature below 8 ° C for five days.
“However, due to unfavorable weather forecasts and at the request of residents of the capital, a decision was made on the early supply of heating to social institutions,” the deputy mayor of TASS quotes.
The single city heat supply organization “MOEK” specified that after social institutions, according to a certain schedule, heat will gradually begin to flow into residential buildings, administrative and industrial buildings.
The date of the beginning of the heating period in the capital is set by the city government. In 2018, it started on September 25th.
Earlier it was reported that the air temperature on Sunday, September 22, in Moscow will be below the average by 4-5 ° C.
