Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan will meet in New York

This was reported by TASS with reference to the press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Anna Naghdalyan.

It is noted that the parties intend to hold talks on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

“On September 22, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan will leave for New York, where he will take part in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly. On September 23, a meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Elmar Mammadyarov, will be held in New York with the mediation of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, ”she said.

Earlier, Hikmet Hajiyev, the head of the foreign affairs department of the Azerbaijani president’s administration, admitted the possibility of a meeting between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in New York.
