The department noted that the amount will increase by 7.5% - up to 12 130 rubles per month.
It is expected that the increase will affect about 3.2 million citizens, half of whom are employed in state and municipal institutions.
Earlier, the document was considered by the working group of the tripartite commission on the regulation of social and labor relations.
Currently, the minimum wage is 11,280 rubles.
