“The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, based on materials provided by the governing bodies of the agro-industrial complex of the regions, carried out a preliminary assessment of the losses of agricultural producers ... the total damage caused by the floods, according to preliminary data, could amount to almost 5 billion rubles,” the ministry said in a statement.

At the same time, First Deputy Minister Dzhambulat Khatuov noted that not in all regions the preparation of documents for the allocation of federal assistance to agrarians is being carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

“We must make every effort to restore the entire agro-industrial complex of the affected regions as quickly as possible,” Hatuov emphasized.

Earlier, the Izvestia newspaper, citing the regional government of the Amur Region, wrote that due to floods in the region, a crop on an area of ​​225 thousand ha was lost.
