On September 10, the Rada adopted the bill on the impeachment procedure in the second reading and in general.

According to the document, a special temporary investigation commission of the parliament is formed within 30 days from the date of initiation of impeachment.

She must, in six months, prepare conclusions based on the results of the investigation about signs of treason or other violations of the president and submit them to parliament.

On August 29, Zelensky introduced the bill on impeachment for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada.
