In what appears to be a new internal crisis for US President Donald Trump, US media reported that there is a complaint within the intelligence community about a disturbing promise made by Trump to the leader of a foreign country during a telephone call.

According to a Washington Post report, Trump's "unusual promise" to a foreign leader has become the subject of a complaint that has created tensions between intelligence and Congress.

Citing two former US officials familiar with the matter, the newspaper said on Wednesday that Trump's promise to contact the unnamed foreign leader was "disturbing," prompting an intelligence official familiar with the communication to complain to the intelligence inspector general. Michael Atkinson on August 12.

Atkinson concluded that the complaint was credible and could be categorized as a matter of urgent importance, which should be reported to the appropriate congressional committees. A politician, he has raised speculation that the head of the intelligence service is trying to protect Trump.

Atkinson is scheduled to appear before the House Intelligence Committee in a closed-door hearing, in a move taken by its chairman, Democrat Adam B. Sheff, to force intelligence officials to disclose all the details of the complaint to lawmakers.

For his part, Maguire agreed to provide his testimony in the case to the committee members next week, according to a statement issued by Schiff yesterday, and mentioning a complaint about the disturbing behavior of "someone outside the intelligence," without mentioning Trump's name.

For his part, Trump refuted the report as "new fabricated news", saying - on his Twitter account - that every time he talks with any foreign leader who understands that there are many people from different US agencies and others from the second side listen to the call, so He would never have thought of any promises that call into question.

Another Fake News story out there - It never ends! Virtually anytime I speak on the phone to a foreign leader, I understand that there may be many people listening from various US agencies, not to mention those from the other country itself. No problem!
