Just before ten o'clock, on the morning of August 26, Karolin Hakim was shot dead in Ribersborg. She had her four-month-old baby in her arms at the event.

The following week, Karolin's family told them that they wanted her name and her image in the media to prevent her from becoming an anonymous victim.

Today, an open ceremony is held at Luftkastellet in Malmö, in honor of her.

"You are in our hearts forever"

After the open ceremony, an invitation will be held for the relatives. “Karolin has been quickly removed from us and left us all in a tremendous absence. You are in our hearts forever, ” writes the family in the obituary.

The police will monitor the ceremony as a lot of people can come.

- We will be in place just as usual when it is an event that may attract a lot of people. There are no other indications as to why we are there. We want it to go quiet and orderly, a beautiful ceremony simply, says Nils Norling, press spokesman at the Malmö Police.

SVT Nyheter is present and reports from the ceremony, and has been in contact with the family who has given their consent for publication.

The scoreboard: Boyfriend

A 23-year-old man is being held in custody, suspected of assisting in attempted murder, assisting in murder and assisting in serious weapons crime. Prosecutor Pär Andersson's theory is that the target for the act on Sergel's road was Karolin Hakim's boyfriend.

According to the arrest request, the 23-year-old man is suspected of assisting in attempted murder and attempted armed robbery for six days, from August 21 to August 26 - the day Karolin was murdered.

If that means that Prosecutor Pär Andersson believes the perpetrators have been sitting outside the house, or have planned and ruled before the deed for six days, he has chosen not to comment.

The man has denied the crimes and resisted being arrested.
