Northern Teshima Test Sightseeing Tour Onsen, Etorofu Hot Springs, etc.
For the first pilot tour as a joint economic activity on the northern four islands, the government has scheduled a six-day period starting on the 11th of next month. The plan for the church and so on was solidified.
It was agreed that a sightseeing tour to the northern four islands will be conducted as a joint economic activity in the four islands at the summit meeting of Prime Minister Abe and Russian President Vladimir Putin in June.
In response to this, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Tourism Agency held discussions with the Russian side, and on the schedule from the 11th to the 16th of next month, about 50 Japanese tourists and government officials participated, and they were selected as Kunigo Island. I decided to visit the island.
In particular,
▽ Enter Kunigo Island by boat from Nemuro Port in Hokkaido, and go around the Russian Orthodox churches and museums, as well as the scenic spot "Candle Rock" along the coast,
▽ On Etorofu Island, we are planning to visit the hot springs and the coastline with white cliffs.
Through this tour, the government wants to identify issues in promoting joint economic activities and increase the momentum for the conclusion of a peace treaty.
