Atlético Madrid have chosen to line up France's Thomas Lemar in support of a Diego Costa-Joao Félix attack duo in the Champions League against Juventus on Wednesday, which has renewed the Blaise Matuidi option to block the left lane behind the star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Despite a lurid start to the season, Lemar was promoted to an eccentric offending midfielder who sometimes forced him into action, forcing him to provide significant defensive efforts.

The French midfielder was probably also responsible for feeding the Spanish-Brazilian forward Diego Costa and the young Portuguese striker Joao Felix (19), rookie signing of the offseason.

Torino side, coach Maurizio Sarri has maintained the team that had conceded a 0-0 draw against Fiorentina this weekend, with the notable exception of the Brazilian winger Douglas Costa, replaced by the Colombian Juan Cuadrado on the right flank.

On the opposite wing, the French Matuidi was renewed by virtue of his ability to balance the midfield of Turin when Cristiano Ronaldo attacked and exposed the left side.

In the midfield, the leader Miralem Pjanic, uncertain, was tenured alongside the German Sami Khedira.

Atlético Madrid and Juventus Torino, paid in Group D of the Champions League, have accounts to settle since the eighth final lost by the Madrilenians last spring (2-0, 0-3).
