Bo Ottosson has been chairman of both ÖFK's elite companies and the association. Now he leaves the chair of the elite company. The reason is that he is considered to have too close links to former President Daniel Kindberg, who is suspected of financial crime.

Bo Ottosson was elected as chair of the Östersund football club elite football as late as April, which is in charge of the a-team and the employees.

At the members' meeting, it was also announced that Lennart Ivarsson will be newly appointed CEO. He starts directly and will work 25 percent on a consulting basis.

Kindberg lent 6 million

The meeting was otherwise very much about finances. The club is in deep economic crisis and in the short term, ÖFK needs to raise about SEK 10 million. It also emerged that the club recently borrowed SEK 6 million from Daniel Kindberg. It should have happened this summer. According to the club, two million of them are repaid while SEK 4 million remains in reverse loans.

The club works with various financial solutions

ÖFK will make a new share issue aimed at selected investors who it is hoped will buy shares. The focus is to raise about 25 million in new capital. One also appeals to sponsors. Among other things, the club has turned to the municipality of Östersund, which previously said no because of the trial against the former chairman who is currently ongoing. But ÖFK has been rejected.
