A battered girl from Ingushetia met with her mother
A seven-year-old girl from Ingushetia, who was hospitalized in July with signs of brutal beating, first met her mother.
This is stated on the website of the Commissioner for Children's Rights, Anna Kuznetsova.
“The moment of a meeting between mother and girl cannot be expressed in words,” the Ombudsman’s press service quotes.
It is noted that the girl was very glad to see her mother, hugged her and asked her not to go anywhere else.
The child was taken to a hospital in Ingushetia on July 4 with multiple bodily injuries. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on this fact. On suspicion of committing a crime, the aunt of the victim was arrested.
On August 7, at the Roshal Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology, the girl was amputated from the dead part of her right hand, including the wrist and forearm.
