“The US Embassy in Belarus welcomes Deputy Secretary of State David Hale in Minsk,” the US diplomatic mission said on Twitter.
As RIA Novosti reported with reference to the press secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, Anatoly Glaz, Hale’s visit to Minsk is expected on September 17. His meeting with the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is planned.
In late August, John Bolton, US Presidential Advisor for National Security, later retired, paid an official visit to Minsk.
