Roger Federer and Argentina's Juan Martin Del Potro, who is due to return to competition in October after a right knee surgery, announced on Tuesday that they will play an exhibition match on November 20 in Buenos Aires.
"I wanted to tell you that I am very excited about playing against my friend Juan Martin (Del Potro) in Parque Roca," said world No.3 Federer in a video posted on Del Potro's Twitter account.
Mainly used to host Davis Cup matches, "Estadio Parque Roca" is a stadium with a capacity of approximately 15,500 seats.
In this same video, the Argentine is happy to play this exhibition with "one of the best players of all time".
Absent from the circuit since late June, due to a right knee injury, the winner of the 2009 US Open (against Federer in the final) is expected to return to competition in mid-October at the tournament in Stockholm.
This match-exhibition will take place during the final phase of the new Davis Cup, scheduled for November 18-24 in Madrid.
