Hatred and bullying are common on the web. This is known by the body activist and author Linda-Marie Nilsson, who often gets nasty comments in their social media.

- They are about encouraging some kind of health-threatening ideal and encouraging others to become fat. Or that I myself would not understand that I am thick.

To deal with the comments, Linda-Marie Nilsson usually reports all nasty and hateful comments on the platform they are published on - and blocks the accounts behind it.

- If you are mean, you smoke. I also delete all nasty comments as soon as I see them, both for my own sake, but also for the sake of my followers. My channels should be safe zones, where you should feel that we are here as we are.

Every third young person is subjected to network bullying

A new report from Unicef shows that a large part of the world's young people have been bullied online. In a survey of 170,000 young people aged 13 to 14 worldwide, every third person responded that they were subjected to cyberbullying.

The most common platform for bullying was social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter.

According to Linda-Marie Nilsson, social media companies need to take more responsibility for cyberbullying.

- The hate rarely has any consequences. Take the notifications seriously and set limits for those who cannot behave.
