Hundreds of agents of the National Police, the Civil Guard and Customs Surveillance have been deployed on Tuesday in Sanlucar de Barrameda (Cádiz) to try to encircle a historic local drug dealer, sources of the operation reported.

It is an operation with which the security forces try to give a "hard blow" to the mafias that traffic in hashish , according to the same sources.

The deployment of the operation began around 5:30 am this morning and extends throughout the town.

The proceedings have been declared secret by the judicial authority that handles the case.
