17 September 2019Thirty people were injured in the accident involving a Tua bus, the only Abruzzo-based transport company, left the road and ended up in a tree in Caprara di Spoltore, in the province of Pescara.

Nine have been transported by ambulances and helicopters to the hospitals of Pescara and Chieti, fifteen have reached the emergency room autonomously and others, with minor injuries, have been visited on the spot since 118.

The most critical situation is that of a 17 year old who got stuck with her foot between the sheets. There were 40 passengers on board, most of them commuters. The incident occurred around 13.30.

From the first surveys the vehicle is finished against the trees that line the road and a large trunk has penetrated into the rear doors of the right side. Perhaps a car coming from the opposite side has invaded the bus lane.
