17 September 2019 Giovanni Castellucci "after having reported to the council on the initiatives undertaken after the board of directors on Friday 13 September 2019" announced his intention to resign as CEO and general manager of Atlantia. This is what we read in a note from the company.

13 million severance pay
The resignation "was accepted by the Board of Directors defining a consensual resolution with the same". The exit agreement of the managing director of Atlantia Giovanni Castellucci "provides for the payment of an amount as an incentive to leave equal to the total gross sum" of 13.095 million euros, as stated in the statement released by the company at the end of Cda.

Guenzi appointed general manager
Until the appointment of a new managing director of Atlantia, the board of directors resolved to temporarily transfer executive powers to a committee composed of five directors. This is stated in the note released at the end of the Board of Directors, which states that the board has appointed Giancarlo Guenzi, formerly CFO, as general manager of the company.
