On September 4, the US Treasury Department expanded sanctions against the Iranian transport network, oil tankers, as well as a number of legal entities and individuals, including citizens of Iran, India, the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif called such actions by the United States economic terrorism.

Earlier, trump said that Iran’s representatives expressed a desire to negotiate with the United States.
