The military of Russia and Belarus in the exercises "liberated" the village

According to the press service of the Western Military District, the crews of the Mi-8AMTSH Terminator helicopters landed a unit of the motorized rifle regiment of the ZVO tank army in the destination area.

Before landing, the pilots launched bombing raids on the conditional base camp of an illegal armed group.

Also, the military blocked the village. To strike at a conventional enemy, Ka-52 helicopters were used.

“After that, the assault groups under the cover of T-72B3 tanks and BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles carried out the sequential seizure of all buildings. Reconnaissance, engineering and sapper, medical units carried out a mopping-up operation, freed the hostages and provided assistance to the victims, ”RIA Novosti quotes the message.

On September 13, the Russian and Belarusian military began a joint exercise, Shield of the Union-2019, in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
