Nebenzya urged not to rush to conclusions about those responsible for the attack on Saudi sites

Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that Moscow is urging not to rush to conclusions about who is responsible for the attacks on the oil facilities of Saudi Arabia.

“We recommend not rushing to conclusions about who carried out this attack. This will destabilize the already tense situation both in Yemen and in the entire region of the Middle East, ”RIA Novosti quoted Nebenzi as saying.

He stated that Russia was concerned about the attack on Saudi sites and noted that Moscow strongly condemned it.

On September 14, Saudi Aramco refineries in eastern Saudi Arabia were attacked by drones. The responsibility for the attack was claimed by the Hussite Yemeni rebels.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced Tehran’s possible involvement in the attacks. The Arab coalition fighting in Yemen, led by Saudi Arabia, accused Iran of attacking the kingdom's oil facilities.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry denied the allegations.
