The alarm came at 07.24 on Monday morning. It is a terraced house that is joined by two other houses that are burning.
The police announced at 07.31 that evacuation of housing has begun.
- There is a certain danger to the neighboring houses. The fire can easily spread through the eaves. We have put out the fire in the house where it started to burn. Now we are looking for any incandescent fires, says Daniel Agerhult, internal commander of the Östra Götaland Rescue Service, RTÖG.
The rescue service has staff from three stations on site. Six cars plus a wiring car.
- I have not received any reports that some people are in danger.
Police and ambulance are also on site. How long RTÖG needs to remain is not known at this time.
