• Politics Pablo Casado dismisses the "great coalition" that Feijóo asks for: "Pedro Sánchez has never wanted the support of the PP"

The president of Citizens, Albert Rivera , has proposed to Pablo Casado to offer Pedro Sánchez a constitutional pact in exchange for supporting his investiture at the last moment through a joint abstention.

Rivera has called Casado this morning to propose this movement to unlock the investiture in extremis . The two leaders will meet this afternoon in Congress to offer "a state solution" to Pedro Sánchez based on three points.

First, they will demand that Sanchez "break his pact with Bildu in Navarra."

Secondly, they will ask you to open a negotiating table to reapply Article 155 of the Constitution in Catalonia if the Government disregards the judgment of the process and that it undertakes not to pardon the independence leaders.

And thirdly, they will require Sanchez to commit not to raise taxes.

Rivera has argued that if the socialist leader adopts these three commitments, PP and Cs could refrain to facilitate their investiture and avoid repeated elections on November 10.
