10 July 2016 Police investigations have been underway for days on the death of a Juventus ultras chief, Raffaello Bucci, 41, nicknamed Ciccio, who launched from a viaduct on the Turin-Savona motorway last Thursday. As some newspapers reported, the day before, the man had been interrogated as a witness by a prosecutor of Turin in an investigation into the presence of the 'Ndrangheta in Piedmont.

Bucci, of Apulian origins, was one of the charismatic leaders of the "Drughi". The site "The voice of San Severo" remembers him "in love
of football, of Juventus, of the bianconeri colors ", and like a figure that" had given its strong impulse for the club Drughi of San Severo and of Puglia, point of reference for hundreds of Sanseveresi and foggiani that had need of a help for a ticket to the stadium ". A few weeks ago he had lost his mother.

The investigation
Following the investigation into infiltration of the 'Ndrangheta in Piedmont last July 18 people were arrested in Turin. Among them is another exponent of Juventus fans. The investigators of the Piedmontese DDA had focused attention on the activity of a band of the 'Ndrangheta operating in the Turin area in contact with the Pesce-Bellocco clan of Rosarno. One of the many strands of the investigation concerns the possible involvement of Calabrian organized crime towards the ticketing of tickets for Juventus matches, and the ties of some characters close to the gangs with environments of the curve. Another leader of the "Drughi" had been summoned in recent days - always as a witness - but he didn't show up.
