Spain's Sergio Garcia won his first victory of the season by winning the Dutch Open at the European Golf Tournament (EPGA) on Sunday in Amsterdam, despite the pressure put on him by Nicolai Hojgaard and Matt Wallace.

Garcia, crowned the Masters in 2017, has raised the 16th European trophy of his career, the first since the Masters of Andalusia in 2018.

With a total of 270, 18 under the par, the Spaniard at once beat the 18-year-old Danish Hojgaard and three Englishman Wallace.

The best Frenchman, Mike Lorenzo-Vera, took the 10th place (278).
