Black-and-gray tattoos, texts and colors come strongly when it comes to tattoo trends. And there was great interest in the endless alternatives available at the Kalmar tattoo fair.

- My business has increased from being self-employed to five in just two years, says the tattoo artist Andreas Shüler.

- It's going uphill, I can't stand. Many fade away but then you make new ones, says Daniel Nagy tattoo artist.

As of this year, the fair has been moved to the Kalmar Hall and the date of the event has also been moved to two weeks earlier.

Evelina Svensson took the opportunity to make her first tattoo, something she had been thinking about for a long time.

- I will not regret it, it will sit there all my life, she says.

The tattoo covers the entire left upper arm and is made like a mandala pattern with a Russian doll with floral pattern around.

- I am very happy, Matrjoshka named the doll is Russian and I am from Russia. That's why I chose this tattoo.

Does it hurt?

- A little, but no danger it is worth hurting a little, says Evelina Svensson.
